Protect Your Solar Telescope In Storage And Transit
The Lunt Hard Carry Case gives your solar telescope a rigid, protective home for storage and travel. Six configurations are offered so you can match the case to your instrument, from the compact LS40THa through the LS100THa. Choose the version that fits your scope and the accessories you carry with it.
Five of the options ship with fitted foam cut for a specific telescope: LS40Case/Foam, LS50Case/Foam, LS60Case/Foam, LS80Case/Foam and LS100Case/Foam. The base 006-011 case fits the LS40THa and LS50THa but ships without foam, so you can cut your own layout or reuse an existing insert of your own.
A case protects the telescope body, but it does not change how you observe. Keep the dedicated hydrogen alpha optics or an approved front solar filter in place at every session, and never point an unfiltered telescope at the Sun. Store the scope dry and capped before closing the lid.
