Why these work together
The 114mm tube is a fast f/4.4 reflector with a 500mm focal length. Fast optics like these give you a gloriously wide, bright field — but they are also unforgiving of cheap eyepieces, which is exactly where most starter telescopes disappoint people. Light entering at f/4.4 hits the eyepiece at a steep angle, and a basic kit ocular turns stars near the edge of the field into little comets. That is the problem this bundle solves.
The two 62° Series eyepieces run at 19x and 56x on this telescope — the same working magnifications as the eyepieces in the box, delivered properly. They are argon-purged and sealed against fogging, they show a 62° apparent field instead of a narrow keyhole, and their long eye relief means you can keep your glasses on. The difference is not subtle: the same object, at the same power, sharp all the way to the edge.

At 56x the sky drifts visibly, and an EQ mount with slow-motion controls lets you follow a planet with one slow turn of a knob instead of nudging and re-finding it every thirty seconds.
