The Lunt 40mm Solar Ready Kit builds every trim around the LS40THa optical tube, a 400mm f/10 dedicated hydrogen-alpha telescope with a front mounted tilt tuned etalon. Lunt publishes a verified 0.45 angstrom bandpass measured on metrology equipment rather than estimated, and the full 40mm aperture stays unobstructed so contrast holds right across the solar disk.
Choose the trim that matches how you observe. The Standard configuration pairs a B600 blocking filter with a mini helical focuser, a 4 inch dovetail and a 12mm eyepiece. The Enhanced trim swaps in a 1:1 rack and pinion focuser for smoother travel and a positive brake. Every trim ships in a fitted hard case.
Step up to Premium Plus and you add the LS40FHa double stack filter, which places a second etalon in series and brings combined system bandpass below 0.29 angstroms. That trim also carries a 6 inch dovetail for balance with the filter fitted, plus a 7.2 to 21.5mm zoom eyepiece covering roughly 19x to 56x.
