The PC-USB extension hose is the airline that connects a Lunt PC-USB pressure tuner controller to the telescope. Adding length lets the controller sit away from the mount, indoors or at a control station, while the etalon stays under the sky. Lunt states the airline can be installed at any length.
Two lengths are offered. PC-USBHOSE25 adds twenty five feet, which is usually enough to reach from a scope on the lawn to a nearby doorway or shed. PC-USBHOSE100 adds one hundred feet for a permanent pier, an observatory run, or a fully remote setup where the operator is well away from the instrument.
The hose is an accessory for the PC-USB controller and does not tune anything on its own. It carries no optics and adds no solar protection, so the telescope it serves must already have its own certified solar filtration in place before you point it anywhere near the Sun.
