Black Anodized Vixen Bars For Every Scope Length
This Vixen style dovetail bar from Lunt mates your solar telescope to any mount that accepts a Vixen style saddle. Each bar is machined from aluminum and finished in black anodizing, with four mounting holes tapped 1/4-20 so you can position the tube where it balances best on your mount.
Three lengths are available. The 4 inch bar (LS100PS) measures 100 mm and suits compact tubes, the 6 inch bar (LS150PS) measures 150 mm for mid size scopes, and the 12 inch bar (LS300PS) measures 300 mm to give larger instruments a long sliding range for balance.
Two connecting screws are supplied with every bar. Lunt solar telescopes all use Vixen style mounting, so the bar drops straight onto standard equatorial and alt azimuth saddles. Fit the bar before you set up for the Sun, and keep proper solar filtration installed on the telescope for every observing session.
