Lunt 80mm Solar Ready Telescope Kit
Eighty Millimeters Of Serious Chromosphere Resolution
The Lunt 80mm Solar Ready Kit is built on the LS80MT, an 80mm ED doublet at 560mm f/7 with an internal pressure tuned etalon rated at a verified 0.65 angstrom bandpass. Doppler True barometric tuning shifts the passband smoothly across the full aperture, so you can move between limb prominences and surface detail without touching the optics.
Every trim ships with mounting rings built into a solar handle that carries a permanently aligned red dot sun finder, a 5.5 inch Vixen dovetail, a 2 inch dual speed focuser with 10:1 fine focus and ZWO EAF support, and an aluminium hard case with fitted foam. The Standard trim uses a B1200 filter and a 19mm eyepiece.
Enhanced upgrades to the B1800 blocking filter with 18mm of clear aperture for full frame sensor coverage, and adds 8mm, 12mm, 16mm and 19mm flat field eyepieces. Premium Plus keeps the B1800 and includes the SFPT internal double stack module, which places two pressure tuned etalons in series for combined bandpass under 0.45 angstroms.
