Pressure Tuned Solar Detail In A Portable 50mm
The Lunt 50mm Solar Ready Kit is built on the LS50THa, a 350mm f/7 dedicated hydrogen-alpha telescope with an internal pressure tuned etalon. Lunt rates the bandpass at 0.6 angstroms and the Doppler True barometric tuner lets you shift the passband across the whole aperture, so you can scan the chromosphere at different depths.
An integrated clamshell base carries the SunLock red dot sun finder and the Vixen dovetail, so the tube drops onto a photo tripod or a small equatorial mount without extra hardware. The Standard trim uses a helical focuser and a single 12mm eyepiece. The Enhanced trim adds a rack and pinion focuser and three eyepieces.
Premium Plus includes the LS50C compact double stack filter, which threads onto the front of the tube without tools and drops combined system bandpass to roughly 0.35 angstroms. You also get a 6 inch dovetail for balance with the filter fitted and a 7.2 to 21.5mm zoom eyepiece in place of fixed focal lengths.
